25th international Flock Symposium March 2019 in Hohenkammer
For the 25th time the international flocking industry met for the symposium.
Our symposium, which takes place every two years, was guest at the Schlosshotel Hohenkammer for the first time.
Our varied program with experts from the flock industry, from politics and the research met with great enthusiasm among the participants. The 43 participants from Europe and Mexico used the breaks especially for "networking" and exchanged with manufacturers, customers and suppliers.
The main focus of this year's lectures were an innovative approach to flock application for apparel bulk production, application of fluorinated plastics and silicones in food packaging industry, analysis of interference to friction tests, crossfire plastics – sustainable raw materials for the flock industry and Brexit 2019: what is important for the EU? The lectures received a positive response from the participants.
The 2019 member assembly of the Flock Association of Europe took place during the symposium. A new orientation of the association was discussed here, the new board was elected and other important associations were appointed.
The Flock Symposia takes place every two years and provides for all who have a relationship with Flock.
